Every now and then we are given a photograph which makes me smile. This is Toby and Ellen Alford, their daughters, Barbara and Gwen and Gwen’s (future?) husband Sid Petty. There are books and jigsaws at the War Memorial which are put out on sunny days. Please make sure you wash your hands before and after touching books. We welcome modern books in good, clean condition, but please do not put out too many at once as they are heavy to put in and out.
